Remove The Blinders

Remove the Blinders!

A first grade boy was selected to put on the blinders to take a swing at the Pinata filled with candy goods! One swing then another, Smash! The candy was all over the floor, and the kids flew upon the goods. The young boy fell to his knees frantically attempting to gather candy to no avail, when his friend yelled, " Remove the Blinders!" Now being able to see he could find the candy goods!

In life there are "blinders" that keep us from seeing the "good" around us. Selfishness is one of the Greatest blinders and distractions to the needs of others.

2 Peter 1:5-7 MSG “So don't lose a minute in building on what you've been given, complementing your basic faith with good character, spiritual understanding,”
6. alert discipline, passionate patience, reverent wonder,
7. warm friendliness, and generous love, each dimension fitting into and developing the others.

2 Pet. 1:9 "He that lacked these things is blind and cannot see afar off."

When in selfishness, you only see what you want to see! Walking in the Love of God causes us to begin to see life the way God see it, and enables us to both see and enjoy what a carnal lifestyle causes us to miss!

1 Pet. 3:10-11 TPT "For the Scriptures tell us: Whoever wants to embrace true life and find beauty in each day

11 must stop speaking evil, hurtful words and never deceive in what they say. Always turn from what is wrong and cultivate what is good; eagerly pursue peace in every relationship, making it your prize."
