I. Keep Up Your Prayer Life!

Matt. 26:41 NLT "Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!”

-Jesus laid aside His mighty Power and Glory, (Phil. 2:7 TLB) yet didn’t sin. He maintained His prayer life, and strengthened His resistance against sin in the process.

II. Guard Your Eyes.., Guard Your Mind And Heart!

Matt. 6:22 NLT “Your eye is like a lamp that provides light for your body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is filled with light.”

Lingering looking at things that are removing peace, violating the conscience, or steering you away, from your purpose and assignment is the way of corruption.

III. How You Hear What You Hear Can Alter the Decisions You Make All the Difference!

Mark 4:24 AMPC “And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure[of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure[of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you—and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.”

Some things you don’t need to hear, leave! Other things can cause you to lean hastily in one direction, there are always two sides to the story.

James 1:19 ESV “Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger;”

Practicing this verse, (listen 1st, hold your tongue, avoid anger) will give you time to think and make a wise decision.
